King size bed, free off street parking, WiFi, en suite, private courtyard, own fridge...

Two minutes from the high street and built circa 1750 on the old stagecoach route linking Bristol to London, the property is steeped in history and everything Marlborough has to offer is walkable. With exposed beams, vintage furniture and a very warm welcome from Jane your host, you are in great hands and anything you want to know beforehand we're always happy to help.

A lovely, spacious room in a very characterful property. Easy to park outside while unloading, and overnight parking only a short distance away. Furnishings lovely, everything spotless and Jane is a lovely host. The continental breakfast was delicious both days, with lots of fresh fruit, croissants and yoghurts. Convenient for the shops and restaurants of Marlborough. Jane is very helpful with local knowledge and advice.

Welcoming and characterful
Second visit to this B&B and again it was perfect for our needs. The location is ideal with off road parking (parking is difficult in Marlborough) and the High Street (everything you need) is within walking distance. Host very considerate and breakfast good each day. We will recommend this place to others.

Perfect for our needs...
Great room and great location. The room is fresh, modern and well furnished. It is no more than 5 mins walk to the main high street and there is a good variation of restaurants. Parking is behind the property and very secure. Jane was an outstanding host and made everything very easy and ensured we had a trouble free stay. She cannot do enough for you. I would happily recommend this for a weekend stay.

Excellent Stay
Overnight stay in Marlborough to visit family, arrived later than expected due to traffic so being easy to find on the main road was a plus (double glazing and heavy curtains soundproofed it). Jane was very welcoming and friendly, the room was very clean and attractive and had everything needed including fresh milk for tea. We helped ourselves to a very well laid out breakfast before exploring Marlborough. Perfect.

Convenient location, friendly welcome, immaculate room, nice breakfast.
Four good reasons, in ascending order, to stay at the Old Haberdashery. 1) It is steps from central Marlborough, an historical market town with wonderful architecture and fine pubs, and a short drive to Avebury, Stonehenge and Salisbury; 2) the room is spacious, well equipped, quiet and the breakfasts are custom made, generous and delicious; 3) although the facility has an antiquated charm, the price is a bargain compared to the well equipped advantages (including a small back garden for relaxing at the end to the day); and, 4) the owner, Jane, is a tourist's treasure: she responds to inquiries immediately, is available upon your arrival, is actively concerned with your comfort and needs, and is intelligent and engagingly conversational. The Old Haberdashery is also well kept, clean and has a dedicated garage nearby. What more could a tourist want? Wish there were more like this one!

Location, comfort, affordable, accessible. Has it all!
Ideal location, lovely room with everything you could possibly need. Jane could not have done more to accommodate us, even offering us a lift when our taxi was no where to be seen. I would recommend this rental to anyone.
